Drainage & Site Remediation Photo Album: Drainage Remediation
The property manager of a Condominium Assocation located in Bedminster, NJ noticed that there was a pooling of water around one of the properties they decided to contact Quality 1st Contracting to remediate the problem.
Quality 1st Contracting began the project by removing all shrubs along the side of the house and setting them aside for re-installation. The crew, led by Saul Castro, excavated to a depth of 18” from the roof leader downspout by the front door to the curb. (approximately 45’) The crew installed a bed of ¾” clean stone and a perforated pipe, wrapped in filter fabric. The Quality 1st team then connected the pop up lawn drain outlet at the end of the pipe near the street and connected the downspout into the new pipe. The remainder was backfilled with soil and the shrubs were reinstalled to their original position. All work related debris were removed and the shrubs looked as if they were never removed. The management company representatives as well as the resident(s) were more than pleased with the drainage remediation. After several heavy rains the new drainage works flawlessly.
