When the Gwynedd Train Station in Ambler, PA. noticed some sinking and settling concrete slabs they decided to contact Quality 1st Contracting for a FREE Estimate on the PolyLEVEL Polyurethane System. PolyLEVEL is a two-part urethane that, when combined, expands into a waterproof, rigid foam that is used to fill voids, stabilize slabs, and lift concrete. The installation of PolyLEVEL began by drilling penny-sized injection holes into the concrete slab. The polyurethane then lifted the sunken concrete back to its original elevation.
Quality 1st Contracting had the opportunity to lift sunken and settled concrete at the Gwynedd Train Station in Ambler, Pennsylvania. With the use of the PolyLEVEL Polyurethane Injection System, Quality 1st Contracting was able to lift the concrete and bring it back to its original elevation. The project was completed in the span of 8 hours for 2 days.
When the soil underneath the slab is poorly compacted, it can no longer hold the weight of the concrete slab causing it to settle. Our PolyLevel System injects PolyLevel foam underneath the slab, filling the void underneath. The foam begins to harden once void is filled, allowing the slab to be raised and stabilized.
