Quality 1st Contracting was called upon to completely renovate the sign at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building. The old sign was small, wooden and not as sturdy. Project Manager, Kevin, oversaw Quality 1st Contracting Foreman Tommy Orgokowski and his crew to remove the old sign and replace it with a brand new concrete, brick and stucco sign. This sign sits directly on a main highway and is clearly visible and sturdy. This has been a great addition to the town!
Loading dock area for a large commercial building in Princeton, NJ was sinking and settling. Quality 1st Contracting used our Concrete Lifting and Leveling Solution, PolyLevel, to raise the slab back to level and stabilize it to prevent future settlement.
Property Manager of Four Seasons at Mirage in Barnegat, NJ reached out to Account Representative, Jessica Long, to provide a solution for the tripping hazards at the end of the driveway. The crew injected small penny-size holes into the concrete slabs that had settled. Using specialized equipment, the team injected PolyLevel foam underneath filling the void causing the settlement. Once the void was filled completely, PolyLevel begins to harden, stabilization the concrete slab to prevent further settlement.Within 15 minutes, the tripping hazard was removed and the homeowner could drive over the apron into their driveway.
A basin can be one of the best ways for water to drain in an area, but they can also create a huge problem if they get clogged. This is what happened to the detention basin at the Hampshire Hills in Jackson, New Jersey. The outlet structure holding water and stone apron became clogged with silt and grass, and it needed to be fixed. To complete this job Quality 1st Contracting first excavated and removed everything. Then we installed filter fabric to the refurbished apron and installed stone. We also created an access path with top soil, seed and erosion control fabric. Now the basin is up and running, and better than ever.
Quality 1st Contracting was called in to fix the problem of an uneven pavement at the Villages at Summerfield in Dayton, NJ. A portion of the concrete had sunk into the ground, and it had created a large gap. This caused a major tripping hazard, and was dangerous to anyone who was walking in the Condo Association. Thankfully Quality 1st Contracting was able to lift the sunken and settled concrete with the use of PolyLEVEL. The PolyLEVEL Polyurethane Injection System took less than a day and is cheaper, faster, and cleaner than mud jacking, The walkway is now leveled and looks like new, with most importantly NO TRIP HAZARDS.
